Main application areas
Anti clogging and anti settling:
When the fluid flow rate is low or stops, the solid particles inside will naturally settle due to gravity.
If it is a concentric design, the particles will settle evenly at the bottom of the pipeline, making it easy to completely block the observation window at the bottom.
The eccentric design allows the observation window to be located on one side of the pipeline (usually above), and settled solid particles will accumulate at a low position off center at the bottom of the pipeline, thus maximizing the smoothness of the observation window area and avoiding the risk of complete blockage.
Wear resistance
The solid particles in the slurry cause severe wear and tear on pipelines and equipment (known as "abrasion").
The eccentric design ensures that the heavy metal body of the pipeline, rather than the relatively fragile observation mirror, is mainly impacted and worn by high-speed fluids and particles, thereby protecting the mirror and extending its service life.
